Set up Claude for LinkedIn posts in your own voice
Build a voice profile from your real experience, then draft posts, comments and a weekly content plan.
By Alan Brown · Works with Claude Code
Claude Code isn’t just for coding anymore. This skill collection helps you create LinkedIn content around your actual stories and voice.
- Write posts in your tone, plan a week of content, draft comments and replies, and review your profile.
- Start with your voice profile: the README asks you to fill in templates/voice.md or use three posts you wrote. The prompt below adds a guided interview about your career, experiences and opinions.
- The current repository lists 11 skills, rather than the 12 mentioned in the video: /li-post, /li-comment, /li-reply, /li-profile, /li-plan, /li-human, /li-carousel, /li-repurpose, /li-dm, /li-inbox and /li-audit.
- Setup: review the repository, install its li-* skill folders using the README’s Claude Code instructions, and prepare your voice profile before drafting. The skills are free under the MIT licence; Claude access or usage may have separate costs.
- The humanizer helps edit generic phrasing. Its local scores are heuristics and cannot establish authorship or guarantee an external detector’s verdict.
- These skills produce drafts. You review and publish them manually; they do not manage or post to your LinkedIn account automatically.
Context & limitations
AI can help you shape the writing. Your real experiences, judgement and final review give the content its value.

CHECK AND SET UP
Read the current README and inspect the skill files and included scripts before installing. Explain the installation scope and prerequisites. Use the documented project-local setup where possible and preserve existing files. Confirm /li-post is available. If you cannot access the repository or install skills here, say so and give me the exact manual steps. Distinguish the free skill files from any Claude subscription or usage costs.INTERVIEW ME
Ask one question at a time about my career, audience, experiences, lessons, opinions and writing preferences. Ask for three posts I wrote, if available, and two specific stories I am comfortable sharing publicly. Do not invent clients, results, numbers or experiences. Summarise a voice profile using templates/voice.md, show it to me for corrections, and save the approved version where the skills expect it.PLAN AND DRAFT
Use /li-plan to propose three posts for the coming week, each grounded in a story or opinion I supplied. Then use /li-post to draft the first post with three distinct hooks. Keep the post under 200 words, use my natural language and finish with a relevant question only if it fits. Mark missing facts clearly. Draft two useful comments only after I provide the posts they respond to.REVIEW
Use /li-human to review generic wording and readability while preserving my meaning. Treat its scores as editing heuristics, not proof of human authorship or guaranteed detector results. Show the final post, the main edits, and any claims I need to check. Give me copy-ready drafts for manual review and publication. Do not post, message anyone or connect to my LinkedIn account.Starting with your own stories and writing samples gives every draft specific material and a consistent voice.
