Build an interactive 3D maths visual for your lesson

A teacher sketches a rough cube and iFLYTEK's AI board turns it into a labelled 3D model. Here's what the demo showed, and a prompt to bring the idea into your own lesson.

🧊 A teacher draws a wobbly cube… and the board turns it into a real 3D model.

  • 🏫 It's iFLYTEK's AI blackboard, shown off at the World AI Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai: www.homecrux.com/iflytek-tongchuang-ai-blackboard-launched-at-waic-2026-chin/402981/amp/
  • ✍️ The teacher writes with a stylus, just like a normal blackboard, and a second board picks it up live.
  • 📈 Write an equation, highlight it, and it draws the graph for you.
  • 📐 Sketch a rough cube, and it becomes a 3D model the class can spin around, with angles, edges, area and volume labelled.

Context & limitations

This was a booth demo: specs and pricing haven't been announced, and there's no classroom study yet: explainx.ai/blog/iflytek-ai-blackboard-waic-2026-viral-demo-fact-check

The board isn't replacing anyone. The teacher still teaches. Use the prompt below to build the same kind of visual for your next lesson.

Do this yourself

I teach ___ (subject) to ___ (age or grade). My next lesson is on ___ (topic, for example volume of prisms, parabolas, nets of 3D shapes). Ask me one question at a time (up to 3): what students already know, what they usually get wrong, and what device I'll show it on. Then build me one interactive visual as a single HTML file I can open in a browser, with no logins or downloads. For shapes, let students rotate a 3D model and change the measurements, with edges, angles, area and volume labelled and updating live. For equations, let them change the numbers and watch the graph move. Below it, give me: 1. Three questions to ask the class while they use it, from easy to hard. 2. One common mistake it helps reveal, and how to spot it. 3. A 2-minute exit check with answers. Keep the language at my students' level, check that every formula and label is correct, and tell me how to test it before class.

Seeing a shape turn and its measurements change makes abstract maths concrete. You don't need a special board: an AI chatbot can build an interactive 3D or graphing activity you open in any browser.
